Microsoft and the IAMCP have the pleasure of inviting you and a number of IAMCP colleagues from the EMEA region to the IAMCP European Leadership Summit in Brussels on 23rd-24th March 2010.
This major event will bring together over 200 IAMCP figures from all across EMEA and beyond to discuss not only the development of EU policies that affect small and medium sized enterprises’ bottom lines but also the business opportunities presented by EU policies in 2010. There will be the chance to engage with MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) and other policy-makers so that your voices can be heard in the formulation of legislation under a new Commission and a (relatively) new Parliament.
Costs for accommodation, the Summit and related meals will be covered by Microsoft. However, arranging and paying for travel to and from Brussels will be responsibility of the individual attendees. Each IAMCP chapter will be able to invite a maximum of 15 people and there is an overall limit of 200 ‘costs covered’ places at the Summit, which will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please note that an individual company can only have one person receiving a ‘costs covered’ place. We will be delighted to help arrange for additional attendees from a company to have access to accommodation and to Summit. However costs for this additional accommodation will be the responsibility of these attendees and the event fee, covering the Summit plus related transfers and meals (as per the draft event schedule below), will be €299.
It is envisaged that participants will arrive at the Hilton Brussels on the evening of Monday 22nd March 2010, where a light sandwich, salad and soup buffet will be provided. The Summit will start in the Hilton on the morning of Tuesday 23rd March and that evening there will be a tour and dinner hosted by Microsoft at the Living Tomorrow facility (
www.livingtomorrow.be). The next morning starts with a breakfast and tour at European Parliament, under the auspices of the SME Union, moving on to a series of discussions, workshops and training sessions at the Hilton, with the Summit concluding at 17.30.
